The Schwärzler is situated at the foot of the recreational area of the Gebhard Mountain, near the meadows of Bregenzerach, about 20 minutes' walk from the pedestrian zone.

Revitalise yourself with fresh air on traffic-free hiking and cycling trails (bikes can be hired from the hotel). Go diving in the light-filled pavilion with indoor pool, sweat it out in the sauna, take a purification session in the steam bath, get a tan in the solarium or let off steam in the fitness area.
